This style of weaving has been passed through the generations since Incan times. The wool is the finest quality baby alpaca and dyed with plants and insects found locally on Daniel’s family farm. Woven by hand, each thread is picked up with the fingers (no loom!). The extensive work takes up to a month of weaving.

Each color, line, and symbol carries rich cultural history, nothing insignificant

Truly masterful, Daniel has been employed to teach at Peruvian universities as to not lose this important craft
